Nick Young

Nick has been shooting since 2009. What started as a hobby has turned into a passion. That passion has not only lead him to constantly progress his own training education, but has lead him to help others become better shooters.

Nick specializes in pistol and rifle training and offers several variations of classes for each of these modalities that will appeal to beginners and advanced shooters alike. He takes a practical approach to shooting, starting with a strong foundation of basic fundamentals, then progressing to increasing speed and accuracy, and ultimately incorporating shooting with movement.

In addition to teaching and taking other instructor’s classes to further his education, Nick participates in competitive shooting. Since 2014, he has participated in 3-gun, PRS, Steel Challenge, Team DMR, and USPSA. Nick is currently a USPSA Master class carry optics shooter. Shooting sports have helped mold his style of shooting and have driven him to “push the envelope” of fast accuracy.

Nick represents the Walther Arms Defense Division team and was also selected to represent Hodge Defense Systems. He is the only sponsored shooter for Parker Mountain Machine.
