I purchased my (AK.) Walther PPK/S last my. I have tried all the hot loads from nearly every manufacturer and found all to be rather impotent vs a standard Federal 95 grn hardball round, Until Today!!! I fired 48 rounds of “New Republic 95 grn hardball”, then I loaded the empty magazine with one of the “HOP 90 grn JHP’s” followed by a New republic 95 hardball , another HOP 90, and finally another “NR 95”. WOW! Even though the New Republic is certainly as hot as “Federal 95’s” the startling difference of the power of the “HOP 95 JHP” is really remarkable. All the other big names with expensive cartridges disappointed me time after time! Until this HOP 95 JHP!!! Pure power!!!! I am not kidding. Try a box and push that little defensive gun into a offensive brute!!! It feeds great into the chamber of my Walther PPK/s; then comes the suprise!
